If you are approaching HC Plaza from Kennedy Blvd (south)

Take Kennedy Blvd. to US State Highway (Observer Highway)

Make a Left on to State Highway

Proceed to Baldwin Avenue (Approx. 4 lights)

Make right on to Baldwin Avenue

Continue to Academy Street, passing Pavonia Ave., Magnolia Ave., High St., Newkirk St., & Rock St.,

Turn left on Academy Street at the light, park in visitors' lot

 

If you are approaching HC Plaza from Kennedy Blvd (north)

Take Kennedy Blvd. to Montgomery Street.

Make a Left on to Florence Street

At the end of the block there will be a stop sign. Make a right at the stop sign (which will be the corner of Cornelison Avenue & Florence)

Proceed through the 1st traffic light to the top of the hill (which will be the intersection of Mill Rd. and Wayne Street)

Make a right on to Mill Rd. (which will be the 2nd traffic light)

Stay in the far right lane and travel a short distance to the next stop sign (which will be Academy Street).

You will pass the Sheriff’s Office as you proceed.

Turn right on Academy Street, park in visitors' lot

 

If you are approaching HC Plaza from Montgomery Street:

Make a right on to Montgomery Street

Make a right on to Florence Street.

At the end of the block there will be a stop sign. Make a right at the stop sign (which will be the corner of Cornelison Avenue & Florence)

Proceed through the 1st traffic light to the top of the hill (will be the intersection of Mill Rd. and Wayne Street)

Make a right on to Mill Rd. (which will be the 2nd traffic light)

If you are approaching HC Plaza from 583 Newark Ave/courthouse:

Turn down Baldwin Avenue going downhill, the opposite direction of State Highway

Continue to Academy Street.  You will pass: Pavonia Ave., Magnolia Ave., High St., Newkirk St., & Rock St.,

Turn left on Academy Street at the light

Proceed straight down the hill (You'll see the HC Plaza Sheriff’s Office to your right). Park in visitors' lot

 

The Turnpike to HC Plaza

Take Turnpike to exit 14C

Stay to the right for the Christopher Columbus exit.

Pass through traffic light

Stay to the left of the divider (it will seem almost like a u-turn), which will lead you to the corner of Montgomery Street.

Turn Right on to Montgomery

Follow directions above on approaching HC Plaza from Montgomery Street

 

 

 

No. 6 bus service will make stops at Hudson County Plaza. Between Journal Square, Hudson County Plaza, and The Junction (Communipaw Avenue/Summit Avenue/Grand Street), service will operate four times per hour during peak periods and twice an hour during off-peak periods.
