VOTE BY MAIL BILL UPDATE
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ- The Vote by Mail Bill Senate No. 4069 (Section 14 of P.L.2018, c.72 (C.19:63-3.1)) was recently amended by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey. This amendment requires certain voters who filed vote by mail applications from 2016 to 2018 to receive mail-in ballots for all future elections, unless the voter requests otherwise. The cut-off date for notifying the Hudson County Division of Elections is tomorrow, Friday September 13, 2019. If you would like to be removed from the automatic vote by mail ballot list, we are allowing residents of Hudson County to fax or e-mail their written request to do so.
